Snowflake Tag
This year I had three holiday parties as well as gifts I needed to give so I wanted something that would be quick and easy to make. First, I covered candy canes in chocolate and then dipped them in sprinkles. Then, after packaging them up, I made these little snowflake tags with the snowflake die cut, Festival of Prints paper stack, rhinestones, and Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. I used these as desserts at one of the parties as well as gifts for each of my dance students. For the dance teachers I work with I made them a little more "adult" by tying them to a small glass of wine with the Cherry Cobbler sweater trim ribbon.

T.P. Mummy
When I saw the mummy in the Googly Ghouls stamp set I knew I wanted to incorporate toilet paper into whatever I made with it. The problem was that when I tried using the t.p. it kept ripping and coming apart, which made me frustrated. After giving the idea a break I finally went back to it and just went for it, not really knowing what it was going to look like. While working I decided to keep it simple and try not to do too many details so the t.p. stayed together and was easy to work with.
Because this is a Halloween card, I'm also adding it to Week 6 of the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop. Check out what others have done this week using the links below!

Blue Angel
A few weeks ago one of my close friends left for basic training for the Navy. Her goal is to fly planes for the Navy, particularly the Blue Angels. I made a card to send her since we can't see, call or text her. I used the plane from the Need for Speed stamp set and colored it to look like a Blue Angel.

Silly Witch, Candy is for Kids!
I have been SO behind on making cards and projects!
But I'm back now and for Week 5 of the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop I decided to make a quick 3D project rather than a card like I've been doing, however I had no idea what to do. After thinking for awhile I decided to make a cute little witch - the bag contains her green "skin" and the topper is a huge, fuzzy witch's hat!

Week 3 of 13 Weeks of Halloween
I almost forgot about this! Today is the last day of Week 3 of the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out.
So, I quickly (quickly for me, anyway) came up with a card using a stamp I've been wanting to use for awhile - Frightening Feline. I really had no idea what to do, so I just started playing around. Some things worked and some didn't, but I think the end result came out looking pretty nice.

Button Snail
I made a stack of these Thank You cards for my friend that just had her baby. I know his new room is animal-themed so I wanted to keep that idea like I did with the frog card from before. I also wanted to keep the cards fairly simple since I wouldn't be making just one of them.

Punch Art Frog
One of my friends from high school had a baby a little over a week ago, so I made a cute card for her new little boy! I love the little frog stamp from the Ronald McDonald House Charity
Stamp Set so I stamped him multiple times and punched it out using the
ticket punch.
I needed something larger as the focus of the card, but didn’t think the other stamps fit my vision. So I decided to play around and ended up coming up with this adorable punch art frog! I, of course, added googly eyes, which I think add to the cuteness of the card.
I chose the colors for the card

I chose the colors for the card
- because they're boy-ish, and
- because they are the colors for this week's challenge at Create with Connie & Mary:

Fabric Shoes
As much as I love making cards, I also love doing 3D projects. When I saw the Summer Smooches Sneakers here, I knew I wanted some of my own. I changed up the patterns to really make the shoes my own - I used fabrics from the Orchard Harvest and Spice Cake designer fabrics.

Happy Birthday (to me)
It's my birthday today! I figured I'd blog accordingly and show a birthday card. I actually made this card for my best friend and sent it to her for her birthday a few weeks ago. She LOVES pink so I had to make sure there was plenty of it on the card!

A Flower For You
So, there's not much to say about this card other than that it contains all of my favorite things! (Yellow, green, circles/polka dots, ripping paper, layers, buttons, and ribbon)

Bugs in a Jar
I knew I wanted to work with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set, but I couldn't decide what to put in the jar. Then I thought about putting fireflies in the jar, but of course there isn't a firefly stamp, so I knew I would have to "get creative." By turning the flower stem and leaf upside down I created the body and wings. Also, adding glitter to the bottom made it look like they were lighting up.

2 Challenges in 1
Today I wanted to challenge myself and make a card that satisfies two different challenges. The first challenge, at Create with Connie and Mary, is a sketch challenge.
The second challenge is for the second week of the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop. For the 13 weeks leading up to Halloween, a new spooky-themed card will be made for the challenge.

Multi-Patterned Pennants
I love the two-sided patterned paper because you get so many options! The only problem is that I can never decided which side to use. With this card I could use a bunch of different patterns so I didn't have to pick and choose which one to use - I only had to decide what arrangement I wanted to put them in. What's great about the paper packs is that you know the colors and patterns will complement each other and not look too chaotic.

Lacy & Lovely
This card shows how much you can do with just one stamp set. I know it's a little hard to see in this picture, but two smaller circles were punched out of the largest and popped up. Each circle also has small circles punched out so you can see a different color behind each. Then, of course, the blue and pink flowers are from the same set.

Make a Wish
Even though it's retired, I love the Beau Chateau paper! The frame is from one of the sheets of paper that I just cut into.

Personalized Camera Cover
I LOVE taking pictures and videos, so for graduation I asked for a nice camera. First of all, I love this thing - it takes beautiful pictures! One night I was playing around with it and was trying to figure out how to really make it mine. Then I thought about decorating the lens cover - it looks good and it doesn't interfere with any of the buttons or the zoom!

Many Thanks
I'm always looking for thank you cards, but I never seem to have any. So this is one I made to add to my lacking collection.

Graduation Thank You Card
When I graduated at the end of April, I started receiving gifts and I needed a bunch of thank you cards! So, I came up with this super simple card to send everyone.
