Interchangeable Felt Piece Phone Case

For my mom's birthday, I made her a phone a case with interchangeable felt pieces. I cut each shape out using the Big Shot, die cuts, and framelits, and then sewed them all together. I glued a small piece of Velcro to the back of each shape as well as on the phone case itself. The "back" of the phone case is all ruffles, which was made the same way:

XOXO Banner

I’ve been playing with the idea of making a banner for awhile, but just couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. After I impulsively bought some chipboard I thought it would work really well for a banner and since Valentine’s Day is the next holiday, I figured I’d make one for that. It didn’t take long to figure out the “word” since “Valentine” is too long and “love” is just…eck. However, decorating it proved to be challenge to my creativity. Overall, I like how it turned out and I hope you do, too!!

Thank So Much

I totally forgot to post these! After the holidays I sent out thank you cards to pretty much everyone I saw. I was going for quick and easy - although these cards really are easy, I did a lot more to them than I originally planned so they took a bit longer. But it's okay because I really like how they turned out!

Paper Pumpkin #1

Starting in March, Stampin' Up! is offering a series of kits called Paper Pumpkin. Basically, you sign up and each month you receive a kit. These kits come with everything you need to create that month's project, be it stamps, ribbon, paper, stickers, etc (and, of course, instructions!). If you just want to try it out instead of quickly committing to it monthly, there is a trial you can purchase where you will just receive one month's project.

The pictures above are one sample of these kits. The top left card pictured is the standard layout for the kit. I decided to play around the pieces and create different layouts to show the versatility of the kit - you don't have to follow the instructions exactly if you won't want to! This particular kit comes with four pieces of pre-cut cardstock for the card base, four pieces of circle patterned paper, a sheet of stickers (scallops, striped banners, sun-shapes), two clear stamps, and buttons.
